39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. 40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. 43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. 45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.
The grass withers, the flower fades: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
"When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee."
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging." "Selah"
2nd Timothy 1:7
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.
1st Peter 5:7
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.
The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: "The LORD's right hand has done mighty things! The LORD's right hand is lifted high; the LORD's right hand has done mighty things!"
You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word. Away from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commands of my God!
I am laid low in the dust; preserve my life according to your word.
My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.
I call on the LORD in my distress, and he answers me.
16David pleaded with God for the child. He fasted and spent the nights lying in sackcloth on the ground.
17The elders of his household stood beside him to get him up from the ground, but he refused, and he would not eat any food with them.
18 On the seventh day the child died. David’s attendants were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they thought, “While the child was still living, he wouldn’t listen to us when we spoke to him. How can we now tell him the child is dead? He may do something desperate.”
19 David noticed that his attendants were whispering among themselves, and he realized the child was dead. “Is the child dead?” he asked. “Yes,” they replied, “he is dead.”
20 Then David got up from the ground. After he had washed, put on lotions and changed his clothes, he went into the house of the Lord and worshiped. Then he went to his own house, and at his request they served him food, and he ate.
21 His attendants asked him, “Why are you acting this way? While the child was alive, you fasted and wept, but now that the child is dead, you get up and eat!”
22 He answered, “While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept. I thought, ‘Who knows? The Lord may be gracious to me and let the child live.’
23 But now that he is dead, why should I go on fasting? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me.”
I believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
(II Timothy 3:15-17)
I believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 28:19, Ephesians 4:4-6)
I believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
(John 1:1-4, Matthew 1:23, Philippians 2:5-11, Hebrews 1:1-4 & 4:15, Acts 1:11 & 2:22-24, I Corinthians 15:3-4)
I believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.
(Titus 3:4-7, Luke 24:46-47, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6, Acts 4:12)

(Revelation 20:11-15, I Corinthians 15:51-57)
I believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers are members of His body, the Church.
(Ephesians 1:22-23, I Corinthians 12:12, 27)
I believe that the ministry of evangelism is a responsibility of both the Church and each Christian.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
